DALTON CONSIDERING LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH NUISANCE BOARDThe legislation states, "There is hereby created a Board of Nuisance Abatement which shall consist of the Director of Public Safety or their designee, the Chairperson of the Safety Committee of the Village or their designee, and three members of the community at large, appointed by the Mayor and subject to approval of the Council. The members of the community at large shall serve for three years and until a successor is appointed and qualified. Members shall serve without compensation."
