Dalton Village Council will be holding their Annual Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, January 7 at 7 PM. The meeting will be immediately followed by a work session to discuss Village finances.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Village of Dalton, Wayne County, Ohio, will accept sealed bids on or before 3:00 p.m. local time on 20th day, January 2025 for ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES. This project is for rendering certain services with regard to animal control and related matters in the Village of Dalton, pursuant to Village Ord. 90.01(A)(6).
The winning bidder will enter into an Animal Control Services Agreement with the Village of Dalton which term potentially could be longer than 1 year. The Village of Dalton is inviting sealed bids for unit price per stray cat and unit price per wild animal. Copies of the Invitation to Bid, which includes information, specifications, and contract terms, may be obtained from the Dalton Village Hall, 1 West Main St. Dalton, OH 44618 or sending a written request, via email, to the Village Hall at townhall@daltonohio.gov or call 330-828-2221.

Bids submitted before the deadline will be read opened and read aloud at Dalton Village Hall, 1 West Main Street, Dalton, OH 44618, at 7:15pm on January 21, 2025. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all irregularities and/or defects, and to accept the bid(s) deemed most beneficial to the Village. Until any contract(s) resulting from this Invitation to Bid is/are fully executed by all parties, including, but not limited to, the time between the adoption of any resolution(s) awarding and/or approving any contract(s) and full execution of said contract(s), this Reservation of Rights shall remain in effect.
Any bid not received by the Village of Dalton, 1 West Main Street, Dalton, OH 44618 at or before the deadline will be disqualified. By order of the Village Council, Dalton, Ohio.
